There’s no single answer to “how often should I get a haircut?” It depends on your hair length, your style and whether you’re growing it out. Here’s the simple guide our stylists share with clients.
| Hair type or goal | How often |
|---|---|
| Short cuts, pixies and men’s cuts | Every 3–5 weeks |
| Bobs and lobs | Every 5–7 weeks |
| Medium to long hair | Every 8–12 weeks |
| Growing your hair out | Every 10–12 weeks (a light “dusting”) |
| Color-treated or damaged hair | Every 6–8 weeks |
| Kids’ cuts | Every 6–8 weeks |
Signs you’re overdue
- Your ends look thin, frayed or split.
- Your hair tangles more easily than usual.
- Your style won’t hold its shape.
- Your bangs are in your eyes.
“But I’m growing it out!”
Skipping trims doesn’t make hair grow faster. Split ends travel up the strand, and you end up cutting off more later. Small, regular trims protect your length.
Make it easy: pre-book
Most of our regular clients book their next visit before they leave. It’s the easiest way to get the time you want, especially on evenings and Saturdays.
